Savant Business Advisors is supporting the development and financing of a 20MW utility-scale solar farm in Gomoa Simbrofo, located in the Gomoa West District of Ghana’s Central Region. This project is led by Simbrofo Light Ghana Ltd, a holding company backed by over 23 years of UK and international sustainable energy development experience and a two-year on-the-ground development program in Ghana.
The project is designed to deliver long-term, clean renewable energy through both grid-connected and off-grid solar solutions, providing economic and environmental benefits at the local and national levels over a 20+ year lifecycle. The development includes three identified 100-acre sites, land lease agreements secured for 20 years, and a Provisional License issued in December 2016 for the first 20MW solar farm.
As part of project execution, a feasibility study has been commissioned with PTL Technologies to confirm site suitability and grid interconnection to Ghana’s national power network.
